Shipmates:  I am proud to announce that Admiral Peter Gumataotao,  Association Member, will be our guest speaker for the Reunion in Sacramento!  Here is a little information about him:  A native of Guam, Rear Adm. Gumataotao joined the Navy in 1976 and attended the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, R.I. He is a 1981 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and earned his Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College in 1994. He is currently serving as commander, Carrier Strike Group 11 and commander, USS Nimitz (CVN 68) Strike Group.  Additionaly he is the first native of Guam to become an Admiral.  Joe Murphy and I met him at the Nimitz Change of Command and were extremely impressed with him and look foward to a long relationship with him as a member of our Association.  Make your reservations now as we are going to have a great time!
