The Nimitz Board and I received an email from Jay Meehan who is in the Army but is a former student at the Admiral Nimitz's Middle School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He asked for our support as the school district wants to rename the middle school to something other than Chester Nimitz! I have sent letters to the superintendent and the school board expressing our concerns that once named there should be no change. Are there any members out there in the Tulsa area that could attend a school board meeting on behalf of the Association? If so email me and we can work together on this. If you haven't already sent in your Reunion notification, please do! We will have a super reunion in Pensacola!
